GETTING STARTED
My job as your interior designer is to create a home that reflects you! In order to produce the best possible outcome I need to have a concise brief and a clear understanding of your style and needs. Here are a few questions to ask yourself to help you on your way.
BRIEF
A brief is a planning document that clearly articulates the desired results of the project.
What are you trying to achieve? How do you want the space to feel and what is it used for? What is your style? What does and does not currently work in your space? What is your Budget? What are your expectations are there any time constraints? What are your likes and dislikes when it comes to colours, materials and texture? Who will occupy this space? Are their any key keep me pieces that need to be considered?
VISUAL RESEARCH
I would suggest starting a Pinterest board and pin images that you love, or have a look at some of the boards I already have to help you. Alternatively have a think about some of your favourite spaces and/ or places you like to spend time in.
BUDGET
You don’t have to be a millionaire I can work with any budget, but I do need to be able to make the appropriate design decisions when it comes to choosing the right pieces.
